This contemporary home in west Toronto, Ontario underwent a total outdoor redesign and renovation to create a complete modern outdoor living and entertaining space for its owners. The design includes separate but continuous spaces for socializing, relaxation, cooking, dining and recreation tied together by crisp hardscaping and clean, organic materials like concrete, cedar and large-format stone tiles.
The pool and spa are flanked by an outdoor kitchen and dining area. Adjacent, under a generous cantilevered awning is the living/lounging area. The Komodo 84 linear outdoor fire pit in a custom bronze powder coat is used as an outdoor hearth to anchor the living space as well as for a spatial separator.
